Important Update (6/22/12)
The Hilton Hotel, the place for 2012 TPAA All Chapters Convention in Dallas, is now full.
We have negotiated a new hotel deal at the Hyatt Place that is about a 2 minute walk to the Hilton.
The room rate is $99.00 using the code “TPAA”. Reservations need to be made on or after 6/24/12 to receive this rate.

Dear TPAA members,
On behalf of the TPAA Southern Chapter, I would like to extend our warm invitation to join us for the 2012 Annual Meeting in Dallas, Texas.
Texas may not be as exciting as Las Vegas, but we are famous for our Southern hospitality which can only get better when coupled with our own Thai hospitality. We are determined to make your visit as enjoyable and comfortable as possible with various activities planned for every taste and interest.
Our agenda includes:
- Seminars with CME category 1 credit presented by 4 to 6 outstanding Next Generation Thai physicians
- Sight-seeing tours in Dallas and Fort Worth including:
- Kennedy’s assassination site and museum
- American Airlines Arena
- Cowboys Stadium – the biggest football stadium in USA
- Western town of Stockyards and Western World
- Fort Worth’s Botanic and Japanese Gardens
- The Dallas Arboretum
- Karaoke for amateur singers and music lovers (days and late nights during the whole weekend)
- A golf tournament for members, families and interested individuals on Texas’ charming golf courses
- Cowboy Night Party with an outstanding local Thai Band and western atmosphere
- A gala banquet with a well known Thai musical band and singers from Chicago, along with an exciting evening program with famous Thai star singers to be announced later
- A trip to Winstar – the 2nd biggest Casino in the USA
Our social goals for this meeting include:
- Greeting old friends who are retired or ready to retire
- Having fun and chatting about things in the past
- Meeting new friends and getting to know people in our organization especially the younger members and their families
- Creating unity and cooperation among Thai Physicians in USA and everywhere
As they say, everything is bigger in Texas, and we would love to make this the biggest and friendliest TPAA event of all.
