TPAA-CMU-Columbia U. Program Report

CMU-Columbia Medical School program 2011 is processing very well. On March 2011, 2 senior medical students from Columbia Medical School were attending the extern-clerkship at Dept of Family practice and radiology Chiang Mai Medical School, 1 senior surgical resident who was in the top 10% of her class passed the USMLE at 99 percentile (Dr Rondi Gelbard) was rotated at the dept of surgery and trauma, Chiang Mai Medical School. Possibly another senior medical student will come for the elective in the month of October 2011.

This year, all Chiang Mai Medical students cannot attend Columbia University Hospital at the same time. The first student will be attending in the month of September 2011, and another 2 students will come for the elective in the month February 2012.

Thank you very much for all the support on our wonderful CMU-Columbia Medi! cal School Exchange Program. I also thank DR. Kosit Prieb and Chiang Mai CMU 6 Alumni which have been supportive the fund for Chiang Mai Medical Student’s accommodation in NewYorkCity.
We greatly appreciate that Dr. Kosit Prieb will give us the courtesy to present our report at the meeting in Vienna, Austria.
