Dear TPAA Families and Friends,
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve as the President of the TPAA for 2013. I pledge to work diligently for the benefit of TPAA members, poor under privileged patients, and medical institutes and medical schools in Thailand. It is our pleasure to inform you about our upcoming 2013 Thailand convention.
The Medical Mission is going to be held from January 22-28, 2013. We are going to conduct full scale of TPAA medical mission and rural school project at Amphur Oamkoy and Maejam (which are the poorest Amphur in the Northern part of Thailand, which are under initiation by our beloved the crown princesses Sirindhon of Thailand).
Rural School Project (TPAA-Tarn Num Jai). This project will be conducted at Amphur Oamkoy and Maejam in Chiang Mai and 3 more rural schools in Lumpoon provinces. Our TPAA missions want to improve Health, Education, and school environment as much as we can in the year 2013. These projects need a lot of man power and cooperation. TPAA will work together with Chiang Mai University, Governor of Chiang Mai, and Royal Thai Red Cross.
Preconvention Tour will be held January 27-29 and February 3, 2013. We will bring you to see Ayudhaya Historic Park, en route stop at Langsang National Park, Pha Vor Monument. We will visit “Tee Lor Su Waterfall,” the most beautiful fall in Thailand, rank number 6 in the world with 300 meters high 500 meter wide, followed by white water raft if the weather permits, at Tak Provinces. Then depart for Chiang Mai, en route stop at Lampang and Lampoon Provinces for a city historic park visit.
Feb 3, 2013 – Depart for Bangkok, en route visit Bhumiphol Dam and Kampaeng Phet Historic Park.

Pre-Convention Tour Details (Thai version)
Continuing Medical Education will be held from January 30-31, 2013. This will be the joint TPAA – Chiang Mai Medical School Conference at Chiang Mai Medical School. At present time, 12 TPAA next generation professors and 8 professors and 3 Medical Directors from Columbia, Yale, and John Hopkins will participate in TPAA activities for the year 2013.
Convention will be held from February 1, 2013 – February 2, 2013 at Furama Hotel, Chiang Mai Thailand. Furama Hotel is new elegant, modern and contemporary interior. Just 15 minutes from the air port and Chiang Mai Medical School. Each room has internet and Deluxe Capacity.
Post Convention Tour will be from February 4-9, 2013. We will offer you magnificent India 6 days, 5-nights with Thai airways.
We will bring you to see the Taj Mahal, magnificent monument of love, a memorial of white marble and precious stones for the wife of the emperor Shah Jehan on her death. We will also visit the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jaipur city (the pink city), Jama masjid (the largest mosque in India), Ajanta Cave (8th wonder of the world), and more places. We are going to stay in deluxe 4-5 stars hotels in India.
