TPAA Medical Mission 2020

Dear TPAA members and family,

On February 13-14, 2020 TPAA will hold the medical mission at Paholphonpayuhasena hospital in Kanchanaburi, which is the largest hospital in the province, and there is an 8-beds neonatal intensive care nursery providing care for sick neonates for the region.

We will teach the class how to stabilize the sick neonates during these two days and provide copies of manuals to the attendees.

We will have a group of TPAA members to represent all of us. Some of them will participate in the teaching round in different departments of the hospital.

We are also raising funds to purchase and donate laryngoscopes and pulse oximeters, this latter will help to assure optimum oxygen requirements for the sick neonates.

I would like to invite all the members to help support this mission. The goal is the improvement of neonatal outcomes with better neonatal stabilization skills and better medical equipment.

Thank you all very much for your attention,

Wichest Boonyapredee, M.D.
